Soccer Mom???

Bradley has been wanting to play soccer again for over a year. So when we signed him up we decided to sign Olivia up too, even though Olivia wanted nothing to do with soccer. We thought it would be good for her to play on her first team. Olivia warmed up to the game fast and loves it.

They both ended up on blue teams. They are excited because it is like they are on the same team, (they play in different age groups though).

So am I going to be a Soccer Mom? Probably not for Bradley, but it is a definite possibility for Olivia. Bradley can hold his own, but all the running is not for him. Olivia however is really good and loves to run. I guess we will wait and see....

Game faces!
Bradley's team is the Blue Strikers
Bradley's favorite position is goalie.

Olivia's team name is The Blue Sharks

Olivia and Riley, they are new best friend. They are in school, soccer and day care together.

Olivia has made two goals!

Olivia's First Day of School

Today was Olivia's first day of Kindergarten. She wasn't nervous, or too excited. She was just ready.
Unfortunately Richard and I weren't as ready as we thought. Yes, I was sad, this is my baby that is starting kindergarten. But I am ready for her to start school. What we weren't really ready for was turning in all her paper work.
Now this isn't our first rodeo (so to say). We have gone through this all before. So when the office aid came up to us and said Olivia could not start school because she did not have Olivia's birth certificate and immunization record, we were blown away. Richard went to orientation with them, and when I went to meet the teacher, there was no mention of the missing records.
So imagine our surprise. And how were we going to tell Olivia, who was now playing with the other kids, that she couldn't stay?
We convinced them to let her stay, and told them that we would be right back with all the paper work. Which we were.

So Olivia's first day went off without a hitch..... for all she knows. Just more stressful then mom and dad really expected.
